Little Monster's Lunch (A Yucky Story for Halloween)

Little Monster growls and groans.

Little Monster whines and moans.

Mommy Monster makes a scowl.

Mommy Monster dislikes his growl.

Little Monster stomps his feet!

Little Monster wants to eat!

Mommy Monster shakes her head,

"Quiet down or you'll not be fed."

Little Monster starts to frown.

Then, he quickly quiets down.

Mommy Monster fixes lunch.

Little Monster waits to munch.

Mommy Monster makes snotty soup,

With a side of baked bones and poop.

Little Monster slaps his knee.

Little Monster smiles with glee.

This lunch is little monster's favorite!

He eats it all, every little bit.

Mommy Monster is very proud.

Mommy Monster says aloud,

"Now, look here, my little guy.

For dessert you get mud pie!"

Little Monster loves Mommy monster.

He wants to show how much he loves her.

Little Monster gives Mommy a bug.

Mommy Monster gives him a hug.

Little Monster Goes for a Walk

Well, I guess I have something for Little Monster because here's another one.  I guess it's a combination of October and trying to get my little one to read.  There may be more of these in the days to come...

Little Monster is bored at home.

Little Monster wants to roam.

Mommy Monster came into the room.

Mommy Monster said with a boom,

"Little Monster, let's take a walk.

We can go around the block.

Little Monster gets his wish.

He wonders if he'll see a fish.

Little Monster stepped out the door.

The first thing he saw was a boar.

Little Monster skipped along.

He saw a cricket singing a song.

Little Monster began to gallop

Mommy monster called, "Wait up!"

Little Monster stopped to wait.

As he did he saw a snake.

Little Monster began to squirm.

Then he spotted a slimy worm.

Mommy Monster said, "Let's go."

Little Monster heard a crow.

Little Monster hopped about.

At last he saw a rainbow trout.

Mommy Monster said, "We're almost home."

Little Monster saw his favorite gnome!
